Harnish Family

We had so much fun earlier this week shooting Matt and Angelie.  We've watched their twins grow up, only  now they are runners and gave this photographer a workout!  I can only imagine what mom must feel like!  What a beautiful family!

Matt is very good at getting his boys to smile - the same trick worked for both of them. (Yes, there's a little tear - it was that moment between laughing and crying.  Fortunately, I caught the laughing!)

So our boys are 11 months apart - and someday they'll sit for a photo for us.  As it was, we took about 50 like this - and as soon as the parents would move away, the boys would scatter.  When they're 15, this will be even funnier!

Sophia :: Irvine Family Photography

I can't believe I've waited so long to blog these photos I took back in November.  Sophia is a supermodel and she's not even five yet!

Finn and Family :: Orange County Baby and Family Photography

Last weekend, we got to meet week-old Finn and his family.  Every newborn is different - some like all the attention and others just want to be left alone.  Finn seemed to know the camera was trained on him and he did superb!
Of course, there were a few unsettling moments, but he's still so stinkin' cute!  (I'm sure mom doesn't think that at 3 am, but...)
 Despite these moments, he was as angel. Don't believe me?  Check this one out!

 The whole family was there for photos - and everyone wanted to hold him.  He was very happy with all the attention - a sign of things to come I'm sure!  He's a lucky little man!

Anderson Family::Orange County Family Photography

Kelly and I worked together this past summer and when she heard I was doing photos, she told me she needed family photos for her Christmas cards.  So, it took us a few months to find a time that would work, and me a few more months to get my act together to post them, but they're ready!  Three adorable girls on the beach?  Couldn't be any better (especially on these cold days...these were taken on a day when it was easily 100 degrees next to the water...I'm longing for those days!)  First, my favorite one.

Such a good big sister!

She even found some life in the tide pools!

Sometimes little sisters need a squeeze to stay put...
The sand was just too much fun.  And the girls forgot they were wearing dresses.  Or maybe it never mattered?
One perfect shot of all three!

I couldn't get enough of this face!  Just look at those cheeks!

We had to "wait our turn" for these rocks!
Every photographers favorite shot.  Finally get all the kids looking at the camera and...

Ah, but I did get a few more with everyone looking!
Father and daughters...looking very model-esque I must say....
We had to finish our time with a splash in the waves.... it was just too perfect of a sunset to waste it!

A Baby Story :: Maternity and Twins Video

Angelie, a friend of mine (from my other job!) had twins this past summer.  Just a few weeks before she went to the hospital to have the boys, Jason and I sat down to talk to Angelie and Matt about what they were thinking about parenthood.

And then, when their lives had been completely turned upside down by Ethan and Connor, we sat down with them again to hear about their joys!  You'll have to watch!

Fountain Valley Little League: the Giants

A colleague coaches a little league team for his grandson. He asked me to put together a momento for his team this year. I attended a few games to shoot some pictures and we used some video that was shot at the games so that they had something to play at their end of the season banquet. I have to say, I think we laughed harder and had a better time doing this short video than we ever could have guessed. Who knew little baseball players were so stinkin’ cute!
