Baby Tyus :: Orange County Baby Photography

Tyus is three months old and growing fast!  I swear kids grow at lightening speed!  His daddy is Japanese, so grandma brought over a kimono for Boys Day.  It was a little bit too big for Tyus just yet, but I think he styled it quite well!

The doll and the kites all represented things like good fortune - Tyus showed us that he's all about embracing good luck!

Such a happy mama and papa!

While he rested so sweetly (don't you love the complete surrender babies have while they are sleeping?), Tyus' guard dog made sure no one disturbed him!  So sweet!

Sophia :: Irvine Family Photography

I can't believe I've waited so long to blog these photos I took back in November.  Sophia is a supermodel and she's not even five yet!

Growing up!

Ok, so these boys do dominate this blog.  But they are so stinkin' adorable!  I mean, just look at them!

They are 8 months old now, and already we can see their personalities coming through!

I say "smile!" and one blows bubbles and the other sticks his tongue out.  Typical boys!

Finn and Family :: Orange County Baby and Family Photography

Last weekend, we got to meet week-old Finn and his family.  Every newborn is different - some like all the attention and others just want to be left alone.  Finn seemed to know the camera was trained on him and he did superb!

Of course, there were a few unsettling moments, but he's still so stinkin' cute!  (I'm sure mom doesn't think that at 3 am, but...)

 Despite these moments, he was as angel. Don't believe me?  Check this one out!

 

 The whole family was there for photos - and everyone wanted to hold him.  He was very happy with all the attention - a sign of things to come I'm sure!  He's a lucky little man!

The Buckner's and Baby's One Year Shoot

We had a blast hanging out with Barrie and Inna and their families last weekend.  Their daughter was just one year and one day old and full of smiles for us!  We captured some of everyone together and then a few of the princess by herself. 

Happy grandparents!  They didn't want to put her down!

She pretty much loves the camera!

When we put the tutu on her, and grandma said she wanted her to be a ballerina, she was all smiles - I think we may have a dancer in the making!

The Growing West Family :: Orange County Family & Maternity Photography

My cousin Allison is about to have her fourth child.  With each baby, we've had a lot of fun capturing their growing family.  Since it's been cold and rainy, we haven't had a chance to do the same for baby #4 until last weekend.  We started off by grabbing some of the oldest kids.

Gibson and Harley have gotten used to my camera following them around, but Finley isn't so sure about me still.  Of course, Gibson used to shout at me to "Put that thing away!" and look at him now - hamming it up!  I know Finley will one day be like Harley, posing like a supermodel for me!

Finley is such a little girl - she can't wait to be a big sister and loves giving the baby kisses!

Like I said, these kids love the camera now - I think they forgot there's a little one inside of mommy.  We had to give Baby #4 a little of his or her own space!

Getting three kids to all smile at the camera at the same time?  Difficult, but with mom tickling, we got some genuine smiles!

Later, we captured a few of Allison and her baby all alone!
